art in the family

Sir I. has been into rockets in a big way. Here’s the one he made at the library’s art program:

Miss M. made this sun (with salt dough) when we were studying Mexico:

Both older kids drawing together:

This is the circle-inspired art I did for the February creative challenge at daisy yellow:

Doodling, and playing around with the nifty-fifty lens my sister-in-law sent us:

Mmm, I didn’t do a good job with this picture, but I did want to show off the cross stitch David has been working on off and on (more off than on :D) since before we were married. He’s making a push to finally finish it SOON.

What an amazing-looking cross stitch! (all the art is great, of course, but I am a cross stitch fan…) πŸ™‚

Yes, the detailing on that is pretty impressive. Once David’s all done, I’ll show it off in all its glory. πŸ™‚

That stitching has to be the best example of patience I have ever seen. There is no way I could sit still long enough to get one letter done in cross stitch, let alone whole words. Lovely. πŸ™‚
The art is good. All activities like that are much better than watching TV or playing games on the computer.

Yes! I have no patience for cross stitch. David’s very detail-oriented, though, and he likes to work with his hands.

Oooh! Pretty. :claps hands with delight: I have not talent for art, but I can admire the results from others! πŸ˜€

A bunch of magical misfits. Their place to belong. Out of work and trapped in a dead-end coastal town. This is not what Amber had in mind when she left her island home to explore a continent drenched in magic and once inhabited by dragons.
