Now that I’m out of the thinking/whining/chest-beating stage and back into writing the first draft of Kai’s book, I’m bringing back the Sunday progress update. Some folks over at the HtTS forums (hi, Prue!) took the 500 words a day or bust! personal goal as a call to arms, and now I have many comrades on this march. I don’t know what my initial wordcount on Kai’s book was, but I’ve been hitting more than 500 words a day and the total stands at 36, 936.
I don’t know if I’ll get another 3500 words by next Sunday (Christmas, family visiting, etc), but I’ll try.
How’s your writing?
Words? Words? I have words?!
:looks around forlornly:
Does reading count?
In short, I’ve been out sick and haven’t written a thing, but I’ve read two new books (LOVED them both) and lots of blog posts like yours so I can root you all on from the stands with my little cup of tea, curled up under a blanket, with a promise to join your wordy frenzy come January. 🙂
Good enough?
*waves in Rabia’s direction* 🙂
Thanks to the ‘challenge’ my word count is regular; low but steady. It’s the regular which I want to focus on and having so many writing buddies is great! Thanks Rabia 😀
A very Merry Christmas to you and yours from me and mine.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, too, Prue!
Hi,
I’m a student at HtTS too. I don’t think I’ve ever commented, but I’ve been following you blog since I found it on the boards. I haven’t been able to get any words in this week, except for blogging and journaling. Oddly enough, now that the holiday is here, I should be able to squeeze out enough time to write.
Happy Holidays!
Hi, Kari,
Thanks for commenting. Hope you get lots of writing done. Enjoy your holidays!
Merry Christmas! (I probably won’t return until well after the holiday is over. :))
