December always creeps up on me, and this year it’s no different. Add in a healthy dose of Real Life Happens, and I’ve decided I’d rather commit my limited writing time to Rainbird than to this blog. That’s not to say I won’t post at all, but it will be erratic, not the neat M-W-F schedule I’ve tried to follow.
Regular posting will resume (some time) in the new year.
How’s December treating you all?
I always think the family and the writing should come first. Have a glorious lovely Christ-filled season! God bless.
It’s amazing how disorganised life becomes in December! Mine certainly is at the moment. Something has to give. I agree with Megan: family comes first, and writing.
Best wishes from me to you, across the ocean, for a happy, healthy and joyful Christmas!
Thanks, Megan and Prue! A very happy December to you, as well.
I’ve come to realize that keeping track of one’s own priorities is part of the writing gig. After NaNoWriMo I had to take a hard look at various projects and put several aside to focus on my revision, which I should be able to manage along with the fun of family and friends over the holidays.
I look forward to more of your inspiring and thoughtful posts in the new year! Happy writing and Merry Christmas!
