Isn’t she pretty?

Cover art and design by Ravven

And here’s the (current iteration of) the back cover blurb:

She’s a half-breed in hiding.

Rainbird never belonged. To one race, she’s chattel. To the other, she’s an abomination that should never have existed.

She lives on the sunway.

High above the ground, Rainbird is safe, as long as she does her job, keeps her head down, and never ever draws attention to herself.

But one act of sabotage is about to change everything.

For Rainbird. And for her world.

Thanks! I still have some edits to do, but my plan is to get it out this fall (meaning anytime between the 1st of Sept and the 30th of Nov!). More details to follow.

Thanks, Miqa! Blurbs are not my thing, but I’m very pleased with how this one worked out (probably because I was having fun with it rather than thinking of it as a marketing tool).

    Great cover!
In fact, I’ve not been disappointed in any of your covers. It really is refreshing to see good writing with good cover art. With so many fantastic artists out there, it’s a shame more of them don’t get featured on book covers.

    Thanks, Barbara, Suzanne, and Kirsten.

Kirsten, I’ve been really fortunate in having great cover designers to work with. I’m super-picky about my covers, and I’ve been really happy with what I’ve gotten–especially keeping in mind the limitations of stock images and budget!

I never knew you had a personal blog, along with the WABWM one. It’s so pretty! I will go have an explore!
