Today’s WANAFriday blog prompt is: Share an image from Wordle. For those of you who don’t know, Wordle is a web gadget that generates word clouds (that is, lovely patterns of the most used words) from text that you input.
I created this image from the text of A Crackling of Thorns, a short story from my upcoming broken fairy tale collection (click to embiggen):

Nice color combination, Rabia, and I love that THORNS stands out so boldly. Strong work!

A Crackling of Thorns is a great title ~ nice wordle 🙂
I stole the title from the book of Ecclesiastes. It was too good to pass up. 😀

I can make out Thorns, but couldn’t make it bigger (Chrome rejected) to see much else. Nice colors.
Bummer. Firefox embiggens, no problem. I will look into it (just got from vacation this evening).

Like Liv, I was drawn to “thorns” and wondered how it was used throughout the story that it turned out so huge.
I read through some other posts here and just want to say that, like you, I’d like to know how I could use Google+ better. I’m afraid to get started because social media just takes so much time.

I’ve been trying to enlarge my Google+ also, but you are right. Where do you find the time for it all???
I think you just have to focus on the social media that works best for your personality and professional goals. I use FB for my personal life (and am lazy about posting there) and Pinterest for myself because I love visual imagery. Twitter is for writing and networking, and I’m hoping Google + will become my Facebook for professional use.

I love Wordle! Except that it requires you have Java installed. I hate Java. I try my very best to keep Java off my computer and sadly, Wordle is one of the casualties of that war.
LOL. Fair enough, Seth!

Love this! I can’t wait to read the story. And I want pictures from Balticon — what was your costume?
Eep, yes. I should be working on getting it and the other two stories out. And I’m behind on blogging, too. *sigh* Need to get the pictures off the camera.
